I don’t know what it is about prints, but I think they make certain features ‘pop’.  The Californian based line, Clover Canyon definitely reflects this, with their vivid prints, I saw this dress at one of my favourite stores, Owen, in New York and I fell in love with it immediately; the colour, the print, the fit… My ‘egbon’ (this means ‘big brother’ in Yoruba), Jide Alakija took these photos of me for a shoot we were working on together. I just had to do a post on this dress!   It’s almost Christmas Guys Love Always, Kike & Tobi

I’m really excited about this month’s issue of WOW! magazine. Why? Because my very first editorial is in it! I decided to call it “CONTROL” for a number of reasons; I was inspired by menswear for this shoot and I’m really pleased with the results! Toyosi shot this editorial and I’m way too excited to share this, as this was also her first editorial. (The black and white idea worked!) Here’s a bit about the this months issue from the editor: This edition is packed with a bumper harvest of over 160 pages of exciting fashion, featuring prominent designers from…

Frockit Rockit was launched in 2009; offering a tailoring service as well as vintage pieces. I discovered Frockit Rockit a few years ago but I got to know the label a bit better when I worked with its Creative Director, Tope Abiola, last year at Music Meets Runway. I love the fact that these wrap-dresses come in different colours and lengths; clients can select fabric and a design from their collection to suit their shape and style. You can visit the Frockit Rockit website here, to get a better idea. You should also check out Tope’s Instagram (@Topefnr), you’ll be tempted to buy every single dress…

A little while ago, we introduced the SBQ X O B S I D I AN series. (Have a look at the first post here). Isoken, Ijeoma, Demi and I had a good time, as usual, with this particular outfit, I hadn’t been on a swing in years, LOL.   LACE BLOUSE, DIPPED-HEM SKIRT & BAG: OBSIDIAN | SHOES: STEVE MADDEN Photography: Demi Banwo *This outfit is available at L’espace -19a, Olosa Street, Victoria Island. We’ve been a huge fans of Maki Oh‘s for a very long time. The creative director, Amaka Osakwe, is one of the most creative people you’ll ever meet. A graduate of the notable fashion institution, Arts Institute, Bournemouth, she never disappoints with her clean cuts and her use of fabrics. She was recently featured on Style.com and here’s what they had to say about her Fall 2013, RTW Collection: “…Amaka Osakwe fused her Nigerian references with coolly elegant Western silhouettes…” *This Look Book was shot by the amazing Lakin Ogunbanwo  *Images from Style.com Love Always, Kike & Tobi
