So I (Kike) worked with the incredible Lanre Da Silva-Ajayi yesterday at the ARISE, MADE IN AFRICA show. It was a mind blowing experience  in general. I was on her design team and I also styled the collection for the show. I can safely say, her mind is truly amazing, it’s quite incredible how she places fabrics together and creates these masterpieces.

The collection – LABOUR OF LOVE, is very versatile in that it ranges from daywear to evening wear. The collection has the most amazing fabrics, my two favourites were the butterfly print fabric and the finale fabric which was the lace with flowers. Absolutely breath-taking stuff.

Here are some pictures of us working during the fittings, with close-ups of the fabrics and the accessories used!
